Join us for a Group Program for LCSWs of Color

This group will take place on Wednesday evenings, 6pm ET for 90 minutes each --  4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19

Description:

While vaccines for coronavirus (COVID-19) have been rolling out across the country, LCSWs continue to face invisible threats to our wellbeing as the virus nonetheless, also continues to spread. Layered on top of COVID - 19 is the weight of the struggle for racial equity and equality in an openly polarized nation. For these, and other reasons, we have a deeper need for connection with others that share our experiences. CSWA remains committed to providing support, information, and brave spaces to help LCSWs navigate through these crises we face as a community. This particular group is designated for LCSWs of Color and is open to anyone that shares this identity. This 4-week group program will include discussions on managing our collective trauma. For example, how do we show up for clients with all parts of ourselves; not just us as clinicians, but us as Black, Indigenous, and persons of Color? Other topics will be determined by the group's discussions.
