Welcome to the Website of the Clinical Social Work Association!

We are the national professional membership organization for Clinical Social Workers.  The focus of our clinical work is to provide mental health treatment in agencies, clinics, institutions, hospitals and as private practitioners.  The Clinical Social Work Association enhances those elements necessary to be a successful professional by providing clinical training, legislative advocacy on mental health matters, protection of clients' rights, and economic vitality for Clinical Social Workers.  Drawing on the 30 year legacy of the Clinical Social Work Federation, a consortium of state societies, the Clinical Social Work Association continues to be the voice of clinical social work.

Perhaps most importantly, the Clinical Social Work Association promotes the ethics, professionalism, and collegiality of clinical social work. This is our chosen profession and we are passionate about maintaining its integrity and insuring the highest level of care for our clients.
