2026 International Association for Near-Death Studies Spring Symposium - April 25, 2026

This virtual event will feature presentations and panel discussions by recognized experts in the field of near-death experiences, suicidality and integration. Presentations will examine existing research, clinical observations, and implications for healthcare practice, education, and compassionate care. The 2026 symposium is intended for professionals who provide medical healthcare, mental healthcare, and spiritual/religious healthcare - as well as for researchers, educators, students, and the general public with an interest in the subject matter. Five (5) continuing education contact hours are available. Presented by the International Association for Near-Death Studies.


We are Tired: Supporting the "Strong Black Woman" in a Therapeutic Relationship - On demand

This continuing education course equips clinicians with the skills and knowledge to effectively support Black women who embody the Strong Black Woman archetype. Participants will explore the cultural, historical, and social influences shaping this identity and the unique challenges it presents in therapeutic settings. Learn more at the link above. Social workers completing this course receive 3.5 total credits (including 2.5 social and cultural competence credits, and 1 ethics continuing education credit).
