IT’S HERE!!! The first meeting to establish the Commission that will oversee the Social Work Compact took place on September 17, 2024. Many details about the timeline for the implementation of the Compact were discussed at this 5-hour meeting, which included 22 delegates representing each of the states that have passed the Compact legislation. This webinar is one of a series that will be held by CSWA to keep the field apprised of developments in relation to this implementation.

This webinar will help answer the following questions and more:

• What can individual LCSWs do to join the interstate Social Work Compact?
• What can LCSWs do to encourage their state to join the interstate Social Work Compact?
• What is the timeline for implementation of the Social Work Compact?
• What will the fees be to join the Social Work Compact?
• What is the Commission and how does it oversee the Compact?

This webinar will be presented by Laura Groshong, CSWA’s Director of Policy and Practice, who has been directly involved in the development of the Compact over the past three years. She is also currently the Interim Chair of the Commission.

Fee & Registration:

The cost is $15 for CSWA members, and $40 for non-members. Each registered participant will receive zoom log-in information via email from administrator@clinicalsocialworkassociation.org two days prior to the webinar.

Participants wishing to connect to audio using VoIP will need a fast Internet connection, a microphone, and speakers (a USB headset is recommended).
