This webinar will provide an overview of the Private Practice Reference Manual for clinical social workers.  NASW has been developing this Manual for the  past two years with the help of CSWA’s Laura Groshong, LICSW, Director of Policy and Practice. The Presenters are three members of the group that created the Manual.  This preview of the Manual, which should be published by the end of the year, will give CSWA members an opportunity to see what is likely to become the standard of practice for clinical social workers going forward.

This 100-page document covers over 50 areas of clinical social work practice including the broad topics of History, Education and Credentialing, Business Practices, Reimbursement, Documentation, Confidentiality, Advance Planning, Disaster Planning, Termination, and Self-Care.  This presentation will have an extended period for attendees to ask questions.
