Controversy over the coming DSM-5

Proposals to Increase Access to Mental Health Treatment - 4-11-13

We are in a time of potentially increased support for mental health treatment, primarily through our schools, with new opportunities for LCSWs specifically (see below).  Next week there will be several votes that may determine how robust that support will be.

 

 

 

Sequester Impact on Medicare Rates for LCSWs

Supreme Court Upholds Affordable Care Act

Parity Field Hearings with Kennedy & Ramstad

The field hearings are a major opportunity to support mental health parity and give the Parity Implementation Coalition the information needed to show Congress and DHHS how MHPAEA is being violated. All CSWA Societies and members are encouraged to participate.
